The College Football Playoff Quarterfinals will begin on Wednesday with Ohio State and Miami squaring off in the Cotton Bowl. Three SEC teams will play on Thursday with Alabama playing in the Rose Bowl and Georgia and Ole Miss squaring off in New Orleans in the Sugar Bowl. Here’s a look at the initial availability reports for each game.
The Rose Bowl: Alabama vs Indiana

Alabama will be the healthiest they’ve been all year. Running back Kevin Riley is back, giving the Tide all four running backs availabe for the first time in six games. The bigger news is defensive tackle LT Overton returning. Alabama has struggled stopping the run for a majority of the season, but part of that was missing several key pieces throughout the year. This is the first time since the beginning of SEC play that every starter is back and available.
The Sugar Bowl: Georgia vs Ole Miss

The most interesting part of the Georgia-Ole Miss matchups are the four players listed as probable. Star running back Kewan Lacy was dinged up in the first round game against Tulane. It looks like he and tight end Dae’Quan Wright will both be available after not missing any serious time. For Georgia, the bad news is up front as starting center Drew Bobo is out for a second consecutive game. The good news is receiver Coblie Young and tight end Ethan Barbour are both back. Young is Georgia’s second leading receiver on the year but hasn’t seen game action since the first Ole Miss game on Oct. 18.
