LSU’s search for a quarterback continues.
Brendan Sorsby left his visit to Baton Rouge on Sunday and signed with Texas Tech according to multiple reports. Sorsby met with the LSU coaching staff over the weekend. He’d been in Lubbock on Friday. The Red Raiders won out.
LSU now turns its attention to Arizona State transfer Sam Leavitt with the obvious Trinidad Chambliss connections at Ole Miss. Chambliss is not in the transfer portal and has a game coming up Thursday against Miami in the Fiesta Bowl. With Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weis Jr. on staff at LSU, Chambliss is considered an option for the Tigers should he be granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA and decide to enter the portal.
LSU is without a scholarship quarterback currently as Michael Van Buren and Colin Hurley have decided to move on.
