The NFL regular season is finished which means whatever happens from here on out has no bearing on the NFL Awards.
The most interesting tidbit to me is that none of the current favorites before the season started are now favorites as noted below.
- MVP
- Lamar Jackson was the pre-season favorite.
- Matthew Stafford has once again passed Drake Maye, after week 18.
- Defensive Player of the Year
- Myles Garrett was the opening favorite but once Micah Parsons was traded, he became the pre-season favorite.
- Myles Garrett was a massive favorite at -20000 (1/200) so they have been pulled and are now off the board
- Coach of the Year
- Ben Johnson was the pre-season favorite.
- Mike Vrabel remains the favorite after Week 18.
- Offensive Rookie of the Year
- Ashton Jeanty was the pre-season favorite.
- After one week of Tyler Shough as the favorite, Tetairoa McMillan is once again the favorite.
- Defensive Rookie of the Year
- Abdul Carter was the pre-season favorite.
- Carson Schwesinger remains the favorite after Week 18.
- Offensive Player of the Year
- Saquon Barkley was the opening favorite but was surpassed by Ja’Marr Chase right before the season started.
- JSN remains the favorite after Week 18.
- Comeback Player of the Year
- Aidan Hutchinson was the pre-season favorite.
- Christan McCaffrey remains the favorite after Week 18.
