LSU continues to add offensive pieces.
Pittsburgh tight end Malachi Thomas has committed to the Tigers according to Hayes Fawcett of On3. Thomas is a 6-foot-4, 240 pound tight end who made 13 catches for 192 yards and two scores in 2025.

He joins a tight end room headlined by Trey’Dez Green with JD LaFluer returning. LSU also landed a signature from JC Anderson in the high school class of 2026.
Thomas is the third portal addition for the Tigers, joining wide receiver Jackson Harris and running back Raycine Guillory. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
