More defensive line help is coming from The Plains.
LSU secured a commitment from former Auburn defensive tackle Malik Blocton. The former four-star recruit spent two seasons with Auburn played in 24 games with 10 starts over two seasons. He compiled 34 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks.

Blocton is listed at 6-foot-3 and 291 lbs. Auburn finished the season third in the SEC in rushing defense and second to Oklahoma in yards per carry allowed with Blocton serving as a starter for two third of the season.
The Pike Road, AL., native joins Clemson transfer Stephiylan Green on LSU’s defensive interior. LSU also added South Carolina’s Jaylen Brown at defensive end on Thursday.
