LSU has now added nine transfer wide receivers.
Troy’s Roman Mothershed became the ninth on Monday. The rangy 6-foot-5 target made 25 catches as a sophomore in 2025. They went for 259 yards and a score.

Mothershed began his college career at independence Community College before heading to Troy. As a freshman, he played in 10 games. He became a full-time starter in 2025.
Mothershed becomes the tallest of LSU’s wide receiver targets. There will be plenty of competition at the position in the spring.
