Harold Perkins leaves with knee injury

As LSU took control of the game against UCLA Saturday afternoon, one of its top playmakers exited.
Junior linebacker Harold Perkins injured his left knee and would not return to the game. Perkins hit UCLA’s Jalen Burger on a third and 35 play late in the third quarter. He stayed down and was helped off the field.
LSU’s medical staff evaluated him in the injury tent, and he later walked to the LSU locker room for further tests.
Perkins was credited with two tackles in the game.
After the game, Perkins left the stadium on crutches with a brace on his knee. After the game head coach Brian Kelly said Perkins would undergo further tests over the next two days to assess the significance of the injury.
