LSU will have a Delane patrolling its secondary in Tiger Stadium next season.
Faheem Delane, younger brother of LSU All American Mansoor Delane, has committed to the Tigers. He spent one season at Ohio State where he played in 13 games as a reserve and on special teams.

Delane joins Ty Benefield from Boise State as the two safeties the Tigers nabbed in the transfer portal. Benefield has just one season of eligibility remaining. Treylan James signed with LSU from Southern and can play cornerback or safety.
LSU returns safeties Dashawn Spears and Tamarcus Cooley.
Delane (6’2, 210) was a four-star and the No. 73 prospect in the class of 2025 coming out of Olney (Md.) Good Counsel. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
