NEW ORLEANS — On the third offensive snap of the day for the New Orleans Saints, starting center Erik McCoy limped off the field with injury.
FOX reported McCoy suffered a groin injury and is questionable to return.
McCoy was down and tended to by Saints medical staff members for a couple minutes before standing up and walking off gingerly but under his own power. McCoy was taken to the injury tent for further evaluation. He was then escorted to the locker room.
Left guard Lucas Patrick moved to center and veteran backup Oli Udoh is manning the left guard spot.
