According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN’s NFL Nation, The New York Giants and new head coach John Harbaugh may have had interest in Weis to fill their vacant offensive coordinator role. Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart played for Weis at Ole Miss in 2023 and 2024.
Dart apparently advocated for the 32-year-old coach. Why wouldn’t he? Dart led the SEC in passing in 2024 and became a first round draft pick of the Giants.
Just over a week ago, reports surfaces that the Eagles also reached out to Weis who remains in demand as the NFL hiring cycle continues.
The LSU is staff is currently out on the road recruiting and is expected to host a number of high-profile visitors over the weekend.
Weis signed a 3-year $7.5 million deal with LSU in December.
