The NFL made the announcement Monday morning. The game will be the first ever held in Paris and will be played at the Stade de France. The stadium is the largest in France, built in 1998, which has hosted major sports events, including acting as a host stadium for parts of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
This will be the Saints’ first international game since London in 2022, a 28-25 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Tottenham Stadium.
The game will be a home game for the Saints, with early reports indicating that the contest will be against the Cleveland Browns on October 25, 2026. However, the NFL has not confirmed the opponent or date.
Because the number of games now hosted inside the Caesars Superdome have changed, the Saints have made reductions for season ticket holders.

This was a year in which the Saints were set to have nine games in New Orleans, so one game being moved to Paris keeps the standard eight home games for the team.
The full information on the matchup (opponent, kickoff time and date) will be announced at a later date.
“Mrs. Benson has been working with the French government and the US Ambassador to France for the past three years on the potential of the Saints playing a regular season game in Paris,” said Senior Vice President Greg Bensel. “While the announcement today confirms that we will be playing a regular season game in Paris at Stade de France, we have not been informed of a date nor opponent at this time. Our priority is making sure that our fans, season ticket holders, suite holders and partners get the most accurate information relative to the ticket information. As soon as we have updated and accurate information from the NFL, we will communicate this information to our fans, season ticket holders, suite holders and partners.”
