After matchups were announced on Monday both in Paris, France and Madrid, Spain, it now appears the league will host at least eight international matchups.
The New Orleans Saints will play host in Paris while the Los Angeles Rams will be part of a game in Australia.
International Games Announced
- Paris, France (Saints)
- Madrid, Spain
- Melbourne, Australia (Rams)
- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Munich, Germany
- Three games in London, England
Assuming no additional sites are named, the league has laid the groundwork for eight games overseas in 2026.
This will be the first time that New Orleans has played outside of the United States since appearing as the away team against the Minnesota Vikings in London during the 2022 season.
Saints’ International Game Results
- October 2, 2022: Saints lose to Vikings 28-25 (London)
- October 2, 2017: Saints beat Miami Dolphins 20-0 (London)
- October 26, 2008: Saints beat San Diego Chargers 37-32 (London)
New Orleans is currently 2-1 in NFL International Series games, including the second such matchup (2008) ever in the NFL program.
The opponent and date have not yet been officially announced by the Saints or league, but independent reports suggest it will be a late-October matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
No matter the opponent, date and kickoff time, (which will all be announced officially at a later date) New Orleans continues to be a strong part of the league’s international plan. The team will now christen a new NFL game location in 2026, kicking off for the first time from Paris’s Stade de France.
