In the closest MVP race since 2003 between Peyton Manning and Steve McNair, Matthew Stafford edged out Drake Maye to win the 2025 MVP.
At the NFL Awards Honor show, Stafford also announced he will be returning to the Rams next season.
Stafford opens at 16/1 (which is tied for eighth) at BetOnline.ag to win the 2026 MVP Award.
Josh Allen opens as the favorite followed by Lamar Jackson, Drake Maye, Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes.
What about Justin Herbert, who some self-serving NFL writer voted for in 2025 causing major controversy because if he voted for Maye, the Patriots quarterback would have won. He’s tied for sixth at 12/1.
