LSU was well represented in Super Bowl 60.
It was not, however, a stellar showing by the Tiger alums. Will Campbell had a rough go at left tackle for New England. Anthony Bradford struggled on the Seattle offensive front. K’Lavon Chaisson wasn’t involved in much of note. Kayshon Boutte was part of the sluggish Patriot passing game that never took off.
Pro Football Focus graded the Super Bowl, and the reports are out.
WILL CAMPBELL, LT, PATRIOTS — 38.2 OVERALL
Campbell simply couldn’t hold up against a tenacious Seattle front. Demarcus Lawrence routinely forced pressure coming off the edge. On 53 passing snaps, Campbell allowed eight pressures including six hurries, a hit on Drake Maye and a sack. His pass blocking grade was 32.9, and his run blocking grade was 53.1.
K’LAVON CHAISSON, DE, PATRIOTS — 50.0 overall
Chaisson was grade da 47.9 against the run and was dinged for two missed tackles and a 23.8 tackling grade. His pass rush was better, grading at 55.7. He hit Sam Darnold once and forced another pressure.
KAYSHON BOUTTE, WR, PATRIOTS — 54.8
It was a dismal night for the New England offense. Boutte made one catch for 21 yards.
ANTHONY BRADFORD, RG, SEAHAWKS — 56.0 OVERALL
Bradford graded a putrid 13.4 in pass protection by allowing three pressures including a sack. Seattle found a ground game with Kenneth Walker, and Bradford helped there with a 69.1 run block grade.
