Lane Kiffin needs a safeties coach.
Jake Olsen, who has been in the position at LSU for two seasons, is moving on to the NFL. Matt Zenitz of 247sports is reporting Olsen will join the Washington Commanders in the same role.

Olsen left Missouri for LSU prior to the 2024 season, joining defensive coordinator Blake Baker in the move from Columbia to Baton Rouge.
Under Olsen’s direction, AJ Haulcy earned All-America honors from multiple outlets including Sporting News. LSU was the only team in the country to intercept more passes than touchdowns allowed through the air last season.
LSU announced on Friday that spring practice will begin Tuesday, March 24.
