LSU basketball needed some positive news.
That came Monday when Australian guard Owen Foxwell committed to the Tigers. Jonathan Givony of Draft Express reported the news.

Foxwell is 6-foot-2 and has been playing with a professional team in Australia for more than four seasons. He averaged 20 points per game on a championship team last season and is averaging 11 points and 4.5 assists for S.E. Melbourne Phoenix this season.
His brother, Joel, is averaging 16 points per game at Portland as a freshman. He scored 26 points on Gonzaga on February 4.
LSU recruited guard Max Mackinnon, another Australian, from Portland last portal cycle. Foxwell becomes the fourth member of the signing class for LSU.
