It’s an unusual week in the SEC as teams prepare for the final midweek games of the 2025-26 regular season. Seven games tip off Tuesday and one Wednesday, with action starting as early as 5 p.m. CT. Here’s what to watch.

SEC Tournament Bracket
The SEC Tournament will begin next Wednesday in Nashville, Tenn. As of Tuesday, it seems like the top three seeds are pretty set in stone. If Alabama wins one of their last two games they are guaranteed the No. 2 seed. Arkansas is currently 11-5 and the No. 3 seed. Florida clinched the No. 1 seed in Nashville, and if we are being honest, will also probably run away with their second straight conference tournament title.
The biggest intrigue for the first part of postseason play, though, is who will be the No. 4 seed. The Alabama-Tennessee game was supposed to give us a clearer picture of who would be the No. 4 seed, but Alabma’s last second win gave us a three way tie for fourth in the conference with Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky all having 10-6 records. Weirdly enough, the team that currently owns that tiebreaker is Missouri.
With its win over No. 20 Arkansas, Florida locked up the No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament.
Would a Florida SEC Tournament championship victory be enough to secure a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament? 🤔

Who’s on upset alert?
Texas A&M.
There are some shocking betting lines for Tuesday night’s action from sportsbooks. The two that stood out the most were Alabama, who was originally an underdog on the road at Georgia by 1.5 points. The other is Kentucky on the road at Texas A&M and the Wildcats being a 2.5 point underdog.
Kentucky has been very disappointing this season, going just 19-10 overall and 10-6 in conference play. They are, however, coming off a huge win against a ranked Vanderbilt team by 14 points in a game that was never close.
Texas A&M is 2-6 in their last eight games, and all six losses were to tournament teams. Kentucky is very much a tournament team. The Aggies are 13-4 at home, but have lost three of their last four in College Station.
Texas A&M could still earn an NCAA Tournament bid, and a win Tuesday would strengthen its case. But the reality is the Aggies haven’t played well against quality competition in over a month.

Lock of the Week
We’re 8-1 on the year with the Lock of the Week, and even though it’s burned us before, let’s push it a little. Not one, not two, but three this week?
Okay, maybe not that bold. I’ll give you one official lock, and a few bonus plays for fun.
- Alabama/Georgia Over 179.5 points – Lock of the Week
- Alabama ML
- Tennessee -7.5
