LSU played poorly last week, and they paid for it in the polls.
The Tigers were bounced from the top 10 in all four polls, ranking No. 13 by D1 Baseball, Baseball America and the USA Today Coaches Poll. Perfect Game dropped the Tigers to No. 17.
LSU was beaten by Northeastern and UL-Lafayette in the midweek before dropping the weekend series to Sacramento State.
UCLA remains atop all four polls. Texas is ranked second by D1Baseball, Perfect Game and the coaches. LSU SEC opener is Friday at Vanderbilt who is not ranked in any of the polls.
