After four days of eclectic atmospheres and chaotic comebacks, the final stage is set for the 2026 SEC Basketball Tournament. Ole Miss’s Cinderella run came to an end on Saturday, and mighty Florida was not just upset, but absolutely trounced, by Vanderbilt. The Hogs and Commodores will square off with a chance to cut down the nets.
We finally bounced back yesterday in our picks and went 3-1. Here are the best bets for Sunday’s SEC Title game.
Best Bets
Arkansas +2.5
Arkansas/Vanderbilt Over 163.5
Tyler Nickel Over 1.5 3 pointers
Meleek Thomas Over 14 points
Darius Acuff Over 22.5 Points
Let me explain
I like Arkansas to win this game outright, so getting them with the points is a gift. That’s not a knock on Vanderbilt, but it won’t be a home game for the Commodores despite playing in Nashville. Arkansas fans have traveled well to Bridgestone Arena, and their freshmen have played incredibly well so far. Thomas scored 29 points in the semifinal, the second time in his last four games that he’s scored 29 points or more. Take the over on his points.
We will also continue to ride Darius Acuff until the wheels fall off. Acuff has scored 61 points in two tournament games and 89 in his last three games. Take Acuff to lead Arkansas to a win and most likely tournament MVP.
