Oddsmakers have released their early outlook for the 2026 college football season, and LSU finds itself in a familiar spot. Despite roster movement still ongoing in the transfer portal, the Tigers opened with a win total of 8.5 at BetOnline.ag — unchanged from their 2025 mark.
While LSU held steady, much of the SEC saw notable movement. Texas A&M posted one of the biggest jumps in the league, rising two games to 8.5, while Vanderbilt surged by three wins to 6. Florida also climbed to 7.5, signaling growing confidence in Gainesville.
On the flip side, Tennessee experienced one of the sharpest drops in the conference, falling from 9.5 to 7.5. Ole Miss also dipped to 7.5 after opening at nine a year ago.
At the top of the league, Georgia and Texas share the highest projected win totals at 9.5, reinforcing the SEC’s expected pecking order heading into 2026.
