After a recent vote at the NFL’s Annual Meeting, one of the New Orleans Saints’ 2027 away opponents is set to have a new home for the season. During that year, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been granted permission to host the majority of their home games in Orlando, Fla. while their usual host site undergoes renovations.
The Saints are among the teams set to travel to take on the Jaguars in 2027, and therefore could be among those to participate in the first NFL regular season games played at Camping World Stadium, the former host of the league’s Pro Bowl games.
While the Saints are one of the Jaguars’ home opponents that year, it doesn’t guarantee that the game between the two will be hosted in Orlando, however.
As EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville is renovated, the Jaguars have also been granted permission to play up to three games in London.
Therefore, New Orleans’ matchup with Jacksonville could technically take place in either Orlando or London in 2027. With the Saints already set to host the league’s first ever game in Paris during the 2026 regular season and recently receiving marketing rights in Italy, New Orleans could be doing quite a bit of overseas travel in the coming years.
