By Chris Marler
Will Wade isn’t the only one back on the scene. Chris Marler is back for another weekend of best bets for the NCAA Tournament. Last weekend finished on a hot streak as Marler was 10-4 over the final three days of the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight weekend.
Here are our best bets for both Final Four games tonight in Indianapolis.
Marler’s Picks
- UConn 1st Half ML +110
- Illinois ML -130
- Silas Demary Jr under 5 assists
- Braylon Mullins Over 10.5 points
- Jaden Bradley Over 4.5 assists +105
- Arizona ML
Let me explain
Since the postseason started Demary hasn’t had more than four assists in his last six games. Braylon Mullins is coming back to his home city after hitting the biggest shot of his life to send UConn to the Final Four.
Jaden Bradley has had over four assists in each of his last three games. I like UConn and Arizona a lot. I had Arizona picked to win the national title when I originally filled out my bracket, so I will continue to ride with them.
As for UConn and Illinois, UConn is a monster against the spread under Hurley in the tournament. It feels like everyone knows that at this point, especially the sports books in Las Vegas. Them being an underdog feels like the powers that be out in the desert are begging you to take the Huskies. So, we will take the Illini.
