METAIRIE, La. – The New Orleans Saints have made their presumed final selection of their 2026 NFL Draft class.
With the No. 219 overall pick in the seventh round, the Saints selected Iowa cornerback T.J. Hall. The 6-foot-1, 188-pound corner had 11 passes defended during the 2025 season and was a participant in this year’s Senior Bowl.
Hall finished 2025 as a third-team All-Big Ten player and ran a 4.55-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day. He almost exclusively played outside corner during his time at Iowa.
Injuries have been a part of his story, having missed eight games in 2023 with a foot injury, one game in 2024 and another pair in 2025. He has an excellent build for the pro level with good movement ability and an upward trajectory in his development. He’s considered the type of player with a chance to be better in the NFL than in college.
Hall caps off an eight-player draft class being selected with a pick the Saints received in return along with edge rusher Tyree Wilson in the team’s trade with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier in Day 3.
New Orleans selected two defensive backs in the final day of the draft between Hall and No. 172 overall selection Lorenzo Styles Jr.
