The Athletics drafted Jump in second round of the 2024 MLB Draft. In one season at LSU, Jump became the ace of the staff, positing a 6-2 record with a tidy 3.47 ERA.
Jump has increased his fastball velocity into the high 90s and has become a top-50 prospect in the game. He is expected to make his MLB debut this week.
