METAIRIE, La – It’s unclear whether or not Jamaal Williams–the newest absence at Friday’s New Orleans Saints practice–was injury-related or otherwise, but the team recently added an activation period to avoid in-practice injuries. Therefore this one will be under a microscope until the injury report comes out later in the day. Otherwise, the team’s attendance has held steady for the week.
Here are is the attendance from the open portion of the Saints’ Friday practice:

WR Cedrick Wilson Jr. (Shoulder)
WR Chris Olave (Concussion)
CB Kool-Aid McKinstry (Hamstring)
RB Jamaal Williams (Unknown)
G Lucas Patrick (Ankle)
Players working their way back from Injured Reserve like center Erik McCoy, safety Will Harris Jr., linebacker Nephi Sewell and offensive lineman Shane Lemieux were all present again as well. That shows good progress for the tean’s health who could look to return several key pieces of the next few weeks.
The Saints and Atlanta Falcons will release their injury report Friday afternoon. The report will also include game designations for Sunday’s matchup.
