A hint at what uniforms LSU could wear in the Texas Bowl

Baylor has revealed its uniform combination for the Kinder Texas Bowl. The Bears will be in white jerseys with green pants and yellow helmets.

That means for the second consecutive year LSU will likely don purple uniforms for the team’s bowl game. Last season LSU wore purple in a comeback win over Wisconsin in the Reliaquest Bowl.

Purple jerseys and other alternative combinations have been popular choices for LSU in 2024.

The Tigers wore the purple jerseys against visiting UCLA. A week later against South Alabama, LSU went to white pants with the traditional white jerseys and gold helmets. In back-to-back road games at Arkansas and Texas A&M, LSU went all white head-to-toe. The Vanderbilt game brought out gold jerseys for the first time since the 1990s, and Senior Night against Oklahoma brought out white helmets and pants with the purple jerseys.

No word yet on LSU’s pants and helmets for the Texas Bowl. And perhaps the gold jerseys could return.

In 13 games this season, LSU will have worn its most traditional uniform combination six times.
