Former LSU Tiger great Blake Dean is leaving the UNO baseball program.
According to WDSU’s Sharief Ishaq, Dean is stepping away from the Privateers to pursue an opportunity outside of baseball. Dean has led UNO for nine seasons, compiling a 256-220-1 record.
Dean took the reins of the program from legendary head coach Ron Maestri who he coached under for the final two seasons of Maestri’s career.
