The 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against Oklahoma was a fitting cap to a breakout season for Aaron Anderson.

Late Wednesday evening he announced he’ll come back for another season in Baton Rouge.

The redshirt sophomore hauled in 53 catches for 784 yards and five touchdowns in 2024. All thre of those were second to Kyren Lacy among LSU wide receivers.

The former five-star product from Edna Karr in New Orleans battled injuries in his first collegiate season at Alabama. After transferring to LSU, he began the season as the primary kick and punt returner in 2023, but he muffed a punt against Florida State and saw limited action the rest of the season.

As Lacy moves on to the NFL and CJ Daniels enters the transfer portal, Anderson becomes the most productive member of LSU current wide receiver situation for 2025.
