Alabama defensive back King Mack will return to Penn State, according to Pete Nakos of On3 on Sunday morning.
Mack transferred from Penn State to Alabama last offseason. He played in all 13 games for Alabama, while racking up 14 tackles on the season. King is a former four star recruit and the No. 93 overall player in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Composite Recruiting rankings.
Mack becomes the 24th player to leave Alabama through the transfer portal this season and the 64th over the last two seasons. He’s the sixth player that Penn State has signed through the portal following their loss to Notre Dame in the College Football Semifinal.
He has three years of eligibility remaining.
