Former Alabama linebacker Sterling Dixon has committed to NC State, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Dixon appeared in three games during his true freshman season, recording one tackle. A four-star recruit and a top-250 player nationally, he attended Spanish Fort High School in Mobile and chose Alabama over LSU and Auburn.
Dixon heads to Raleigh to help a defense that ranked 14th or worse in the ACC in total defense, scoring defense, and passing defense. He will have four years of eligibility remaining at NC State.
