
LSU’s recruiting operation took a hit on Monday.
On3’s Pete Nako’s is reporting that Director of Recruiting Communications and External Relations Jordan Arcement is leaving the program to accept a position with Athletes First, a management firm that represents players, coaches and broadcasters nationwide.

Arcement joined LSU in 2022 as a recruiting specialist. He rose the ranks as an integral part of the program’s roster management.
Per his LSU bio:
Jordan Arcement serves as Director of Player Development for the LSU football program. He was promoted to that position in January of 2023. Previously he served as a recruiting specialist for the Tigers during the 2022 season.
Acrement is heavily involved in LSU’s recruiting efforts as well as the program’s NIL initiatives.
Prior to joining the LSU support staff, Arcement spent nearly three years at the University of Virginia where he worked his way up to Director of Recruiting Communications after serving as a senior scout and regional scout for the Cavaliers.
Prior to joining the college ranks, Arcement served as co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Ellender Memorial High School from 2016-18. Prior to that, he was defensive backs and wide receivers coach at E.D. White Catholic High School.
A native of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Arcement played college football at Nicholls, starting nine games at wide receiver in 2011. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in fall camp prior to the 2012 season. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Nicholls in 2014.
