Brother Chette Williams will leave a lasting legacy on The Plains. A kind, compassionate soul gone too soon. Auburn lost a great one today but his spirit will live on. I’m absolutely certain of that.

Williams played for Auburn from 1982 to 1984 and had been the team chaplain since 1999. He had just finished his 26th season at the position with the football team. He’s also been the on campus director of the Fellowship of Student Athletes as well.
There’s no word yet on when the funeral will be.
