Auburn flips 4-star USC commitment

Despite a 3-6 record this season, few teams have been as good on the recruiting trail as the Auburn Tigers.
That continued on Thursday as four-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux flipped his commitment from USC to Hugh Freeze and the Tigers.
“Auburn has always felt like home,” Arnoux told On3. “I get a great vibe from the coaches. Auburn is one of those places that has a small-town togetherness. The whole community supports the football team. It gives you a magical feeling.”
Arnoux is the No. 43 overall ranked cornerback in the 2025 class and is ranked No. 452 overall in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. Arnoux was previously committed to Tennessee before his commitment to the Trojans. The 6-foot-1, 175 lbs. defensive back hails from powerhouse Carrollton in Carrollton, Georgia.
He is the 28th commitment of the 2025 class for Auburn which is currently ranked No. 6 nationally in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
