Carr, Kamara missing from Saints practice Friday

By Ross Jackson
There was no change for the New Orleans Saints as they wrap up practice for the week. It’s looking more and more like the Saints will be without a quartet of key contributors as they face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Here is the attendance for the open portion of Friday’s Saints practice, per various reports.
Not Seen:
QB Derek Carr (Left Hand)
RB Alvin Kamara (Groin)
LG Lucas Patrick (Knee)
C Erik McCoy (Elbow)
With two interior offensive lineman expected to miss this week and the potential for a hampered run game, rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler will again have his work cut out for him.
New Orleans is likely to have Shane Lemieux man the center spot while Landon Young will take the left guard position.
New Orleans does looks like it has a good chance to get wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling back. That will be a big benefit for the offense that should be looking to get the ball out quickly and moving the ball through the air.
If Kamara cannot go, it would be a benefit for the Saints if newly-added running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire could get elevated from the practice squad to contribute. The versatile back told LouisianaSports.net that it was a dream of his to have his name on a gamenday Saints jersey. This week may provide the realization of that dream.
