College Game Day headed to Baton Rouge for LSU-Alabama

ESPN College Game Day will originate from Baton Rouge next week for the LSU-Alabama game. The network made the announcement during Saturday’s show in State College, Pa.

LSU and Alabama both have an open date this weekend and will meet in a defacto College Football Playoff elimination game. Both the Tigers and Crimson Tide are 6-2 on the season.

LSU is 22-13 when appearing on Game Day. The Tigers have hosted the show 13 times, tied with Florida for fourth-most all time.

The Tigers and Crimson Tide will kick off Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. from Tiger Stadium.
