Cornerback PJ Woodland plans to stay at LSU
12/11/2024

Following a tweet by On3’s Pete Nakos suggesting PJ Woodland was planning to enter the transfer portal, the freshman cornerback appears set to remain at LSU.
Woodland responded “THATS OVA WITH”, seemingly suggesting he had considered transferring but has had a change of heart. He turned heads back in the spring as an early enrollee, and he played in all 12 games for LSU. For the seasons he was credited with 15 tackles and two passes defended along with a forced fumble.
Woodland was rated a four-star prospect from Hattiesburg and was the 7-A Mississippi Defensive Player of the Year. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
