The New Orleans Saints have been firmly positioned within all of the conversation around Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams.
As the speculation continues to pick up steam, more and more are making their opinions known as to where Adams could, and in some cases should, end up. Former Saints quarterback Chase Daniel believes his former team is one of the best fits.

In fact, not only does Daniel believe that the Saints would be a good fit for the three-time All-Pro wideout, but he also said that he believes the Saints are close to being contenders. That may be an important piece of the puzzle for both Adams and New Orleans.
“The Saints think they can win,” Daniel told Fox Sports 1 co-host Sam Acho in a recently shared social media post.
Daniel also reinforced his take with a post of his own declaring “The Saints are a team to watch for Davante Adams.”
The connective tissue certainly exists between Adams and the Saints. The popular connection is that of quarterback Derek Carr, who was Adams’ quarterback in college and for his first season with the Raiders. But the relationship that some are just starting to figure out is wide receivers coach Keith Williams. Adams and Williams go back to the receiver’s college recruitment and have continued their strong relationship working together every offseason.
The real question for New Orleans would simply be about compensation. It seems that Adams is more than content with the idea of being traded to the Saints and certainly the Saints, who are perpetually in win-now mode, would benefit from such a talented acquisition.
Even if, along with Acho, many don’t believe the Saints are contenders, all that truly matters is how the organization views itself. You would be hard pressed to find anyone within that club that doesn’t believe they compete to win it all. A move like landing Adams would only make them more convinced.
