Eli Drinkwitz updates Luther Burden’s pending NFL decision

Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden’s future remains uncertain.
However, all signs point to this being Burden’s last in college. Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz announced that Burden will participate in the Senior Day festivities before the Arkansas game. The former five-star recruit has been one of the key reasons for the program’s turnaround during his three years in Columbia.
“I have had conversations with Luther. We are in those conversations,” Drinkwitz said Tuesday. “I’m never going to steal anybody’s thunder or spotlight. But I would just say that we’re very fortunate for Luther to have been here for three seasons.”
In his three seasons as a Tiger, Burden has amassed 2,525 total yards of offense and 26 total touchdowns. He is projected to be a top ten pick in next year’s 2025 NFL Draft.
