BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU will be replacing both of its starting offensive tackles from this season after junior right tackle Emery Jones declared for the NFL Draft Thursday. Will Campbell made his Draft announcement last week.

Jones burst onto the scene as a true freshman in 2022, starting 12 games for the Tigers and playing in all 14 that season. He never relinquished his job. After earning True Freshman All-America honors from ESPN, Jones would start 36 of the 38 games he played at LSU. The LSU coaches named him LSU Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2023 and Jones was named Second Team All-SEC by the leagues coaches the last two seasons.

Jones has appeared in mock drafts as a potential first round pick, but is projected by some analysts as a day two selection. Mel Kiper, Jr., ranks Jones as the tenth-best tackle in the 2025 Draft, but some scouts project him as a guard at the next level.

Jones was a consensus four-star prospect coming out of Catholic High in Baton Rouge.

LSU is also losing starting guards Garrett Dellinger and Miles Frazier who are both out of eligibility.
