There are some big games on the docket including LSU traveling to College Station with the winner being firmly in the driver seat as the No. 1 team in the SEC conference standings. . Here’s how the computers think this week’s games play out.
Oklahoma @ 18 Ole Miss

Arkansas @ Mississippi State
FPI Prediction: Arkansas 60.3%
21 Missouri @ 15 Alabama
FPI Prediction: Alabama 82.5%
5 Texas @ 25 Vanderbilt
FPI Prediction: Texas 90.5%
8 LSU @ 14 Texas A&M
FPI Prediction: Texas A&M 52.7%
Auburn @ Kentucky
FPI Prediction: Kentucky 51.5%
What stands out most for this week’s games? Auburn continues to be one of the most confusing teams in the country featuring a Game Control ranking that is 15th out of 16 total teams in the conference despite playing the 10th easiest schedule in the conference. The Tigers are just 3-9 on the road over the last three years with all three wins coming against teams with losing records and seven of the nine losses by double digits.
Another interesting note is the Texas A&M-LSU percentage FPI odds mirroring the Vegas line. The Aggies are hovering around a 3-point favorite at home against LSU. It feels like Texas A&M hasn’t played a team away from Kyle Field, to be honest. Texas A&M has won their last three games at home against LSU by an average of 10 points per game.
Finally, I understand how good Texas is, and it will be fascinating to see what they look like coming off a loss to Georgia. But, that construction site that Vanderbilt plays in has proven to be an absolute snake pit this season. So, giving the Commodores less than ten percent chance to win at home? Stop.
