ESPN shows Ole Miss injury stoppage statistic

Death. Taxes. And, Ole Miss players suffering an “injury” in a big moment before magically recovering a few plays later. It’s happened over and over the last two seasons, leaving opposing fans and teams more and more frustrated at the lack of consequence from the league.
Tonight, during the LSU game ESPN showed this graphic illustrating just how often it’s happened this season, and the number was shocking to say the least.

You’ve seen it happen all over the country when a team doesn’t want to use a timeout or when they want to slow the momentum of the opposing offense. And, since there’s no current penalty or consequence against it, it happens more and more.
Regardless, there is one team that seems to have these injury problems more than anyone else – Ole Miss.
So much so that just yesterday they released a tweet addressing the complaints.
