In what is one of the more bizarre stories you’ll hear today, reports surfaced last night that the Auburn basketball team’s flight to Houston had to be diverted shortly after takeoff due to a fight amongst players in mid-air.
The Tigers were on their way to take on the Cougars in a highly anticipated non-conference game scheduled for Saturday. Jahki Howard and Ja’Heim Hudson got into an altercation that escalated and forced the pilot and flight attendant to immediately return the flight back to Auburn.
The team was finally able to board the flight again. However, neither player traveled with the team.
