Five-star Kade Phillips flips from LSU to Texas

With just hours remaining before the early signing period begins, LSU lost one of its top-rated commitments.
Five-star defensive back Kade Phillips announced via social media that he was flipping to Texas. Back in July, Phillips pledged to LSU while previous committed to Texas.
On3 ranks Phillips as the No. 23 player nationally and the No. 4 cornerback in the country.
LSU currently has pledges from No. 1 cornerback DJ Pickett as well as the top cornerback in Louisiana, Ruston’s Aidan Anding.
Wednesday begins the early signing period for college football.
