Georgia doesn’t lose a lot on the field, but they suffered a major loss on the recruiting trail early Thursday evening.
Five-star quarterback Jared Curtis from Nashville announced that he was officially decommitting and reopening his recruitment effective immediately.

Curtis, a 6-foot-3, 225lbs. quarterback, is currently the second ranked signal caller in the 2026 recruiting cycle according to On3 and was the highest ranked player in the 2026 class for Kirby Smart and the Dawgs.
Curtis has nearly 40 total offers from teams across the country including Alabama, LSU, Oregon, Southern Cal and several other highly ranked programs. As a sophomore at Nashville Christian, he scored 38 total touchdowns and totaled over 3,000 yards of offense.
