Florida and NC State cancel future series

Future scheduling is a dicey proposition in college football these days.

Conference realignment, television agreements and impending revenue sharing have altered approaches nationwide.

Earlier today, university officials announced that Florida and NC State would be canceling their future home-and-home series. The Gators and Wolfpack were slated to play each other in 2026 and in 2032. Per a public records request, a termination agreement was reached from a mutual agreement and decision between the two universities.

This is the second home-and-home series Florida has cancelled this season, as they nixed a deal with Cal earlier this fall.
