The hot seat in Gainesville has seemingly cooled for Billy Napier, as early Thursday morning Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin announced that Napier will be returning as head coach of the Gators next season.

Napier is 15-18 overall at Florida, including a 4-4 mark this season. He’s also played what has arguably been the most difficult schedule in the country.
