Tennessee landed its second player from the transfer portal, former four-star wide receiver and Alabama transfer Amari Jefferson.
Jefferson was a highly ranked recruit out of The Baylor School in Chattanooga, choosing Alabama over Tennessee and Georgia. However, he did not record any statistics or see game action during his freshman season in Tuscaloosa.
Despite that, he was a consensus four-star recruit and a top-250 player nationally, according to all major recruiting services. Jefferson returns home to the Volunteer State with four years of eligibility remaining and an NIL valuation of $430,000, according to On3.
