Former LSU guard Givens headed to Memphis

Curtis Givens remains a Tiger. His stripes will change colors.

The former LSU guard announced Tuesday that he will enroll at Memphis for the 2025-26 season.

Givens was born in Memphis and played his high school basketball at Montverde Academy in Florida. He was a part of a national championship prep team and was a top 50 player when he signed at LSU.

As a freshman, Givens appeared in all 32 games with 12 starts. He averaged 4.8 points and 1.6 assists.

Memphis torched the American Athletic Conference last season, finishing 16-2 in the regular season and winning the conference tournament. They were bounced from the NCAA Tournament by Colorado State in the Round of 64.

Givens has four years to play three seasons.
