Former LSU offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles will come out of retirement and enter free agency. The news was first reported by Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Charles was a fourth round draft pick by the Washington Commanders in the 2020 NFL Draft. He was a three year starter at LSU with a combined 26 career starts for the Tigers.

Charles started 18 games and played in 35 during his three seasons in Washington, launching his NFL career. After the 2023 season, he signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Tennessee Titans and prepared to start in 2024. However, he unexpectedly retired before the season began.

The Titans are expected to release him, allowing him to become a free agent.
