Four-star OL Chris Booker commits to Alabama

Alabama landed a commitment Thursday evening from 2026 offensive lineman Chris Booker. Booker is a 6-foot-4, 285 pound interior lineman from Atlanta.
Booker held 12 offers from programs around the country. However, only four were from Power Four programs. He ultimately chose Alabama over Kentucky and South Florida.
“I love how he coaches and teaches and makes his linemen feel welcome and comfortable while still enforcing his philosophy. The conversations have been great. I like how transparent he is. Aside from being a great coach, he’s a really good guy and I always enjoy talking to him,” he told 247Sport’s BamaOnline.
Booker is rated a four star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite rankings and is the No. 357 player overall in the 2026 class. He becomes the second commitment for Kalen Deboer and Alabama in the 2026 cycle.
